Kèr Tshmizosju (Tshmiz /ˈosju/ [uncle] [stool (seat)]) is a subtropical Town located in the Zophtevub̄ Provence of the Kingdom of Hobben.

The name Kèr Tshmizosju is derived from the Tauric language, as Kèr Tshmizosju was founded by Kos Āko Crowthero, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Kèr Tshmizosju has a yearly average temperature of 26°C (78°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 30°C (86°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 23°C (73°F). Kèr Tshmizosju receives an average of 123 cm/y (48 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Kèr Tshmizosju covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 6338 m (20793 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Kèr Tshmizosju was founded durring the late 14th century in winter of the year 1260, by Kos Āko Crowthero. The establishment of Kèr Tshmizosju was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Kèr Tshmizosju's construction back out of the project. Kos Āko Crowthero pushed on reguardles, and Kèr Tshmizosju was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Kèr Tshmizosju was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Kèr Tshmizosju is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.

Kèr Tshmizosju is buildings have been located at convienant points along the cliff Kèr Tshmizosju was built upon. Navigating the town is therefore a little chalanging as the distance between buildings verris greatly and the restrictive flagstone streets flow where they are able to be made rather than folowing the most convienant paths. The town rests behind a thick wall made from clay bricks. The wall has all of the proper fortifications and is well made. Unfortuantly the nature of clay brick leaves it quite vulnerable to siege equipment, though the thickness of the wall lends it simmilar resistnace to a thinner hardrock wall. Astonishigly, the millitarily questionable fortifications are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

Looking around Kèr Tshmizosju you immediately realise that the locals are looking back at you. All of them. Everywhere you look somone is staring back at you analytically, looking over every inch of you, your gear, and your companions. As you get close to people, their hands move closer to their belt knife, or dagger. You may want to watch where you go and what you say...

Civic Infrastructure

Kèr Tshmizosju has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Kèr Tshmizosju. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Kèr Tshmizosju's parks.

Kèr Tshmizosju has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Kèr Tshmizosju.

Kèr Tshmizosju has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.

Kèr Tshmizosju has a Guild of Nurses, which is tasked with caring for the elderly and infirm in accordance with local ordinances, religious values, and customs.

Kèr Tshmizosju has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.

Kèr Tshmizosju has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Kèr Tshmizosju's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

Kèr Tshmizosju possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Kèr Tshmizosju's grid is powered by an arcane means.

Kèr Tshmizosju's old civil lighting system was converted to Galvanic Lamps recently, and expanded to provide nighttime illumination to all city streets.

Kèr Tshmizosju has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Kèr Tshmizosju's natural decorations nor waterways.

Kèr Tshmizosju has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Kèr Tshmizosju has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.

Kèr Tshmizosju is home to a University which provides higher education in a variety of fields, and also serves as a research institute for those same fields.

Cultural Notes

Kèr Tshmizosju's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used which employed abundant symbolic geometry, using pure forms such as the circle and square, and plans are based on often symmetrical layouts featuring rectangular courtyards and halls. These structures were is decorated with carved stone or stucco reliefs and made use of colorful stone mosaics..

In Kèr Tshmizosju snow is warm to the touch and does not melt within city limits. Also it only happens during summer.

The Grimstalker near Kèr Tshmizosju are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.

Kèr Tshmizosju's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves bloodletting to channel Illusion energies of tier 3 via moments of science.
